Toyohiro made close to forty woodblock prints of flowers and (or) birds during the late 1700s and early 1800s. Twenty-two examples are shown in this gallery. Click on a picture to enlarge it. While full color was the norm for flower-bird prints at that time he chose just shades of grey for most of his prints. Today Toyohiro is perhaps better known for being the teacher of the prolific flower-bird printmaker Hiroshige Utagawa than for his own prints.
